After the success of Shoppy shops, Vox Media invited me to Code 2023 with a media pass.
In the media section, I was surprised to find that I was the only independent content creator. I was with journalists from NYT, Washington Post, CNN, The Verge, and more.
Nilay Patel, who is editor-in-chief of The Verge, and host of the conference, briefed me on his expectations before the talks began. He called me a “baby blogger,” and gave me a simple request: ask good questions.
